My Morning Jacket is touring with Pearl Jam beginning May 9. Pitchfork's news piece about this is really dumb. The two dates in the New York Metro area are June 1 and 3 at the Meadowlands, New Jersey. Shannon is bugging out because My Morning Jacket and Pearl Jam are her two favorite bands ever. Pearl Jam's next record is out May 2.

I'm so sick of Pitchfork and their holier-than-thou attitude. It was fine for a while, but now I feel like they have to hate on anything that sells more that 250,000 records.
