Noel quits Oasis! awesome!

from Oasisnet.com: "It's with some sadness and great relief to tell you that I quit Oasis tonight. People will write and say what they like, but I simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer."

REVOLTING COCKS to tour North America for the first time since the late 1980s. Band will release Sex-O MiXXX-O in late September, a collection of remixes from their 2009 album Sex-O Olympic-O.

Holy crapes, the deliberately offensive RevCo has been re-charged by industrial metal icon Al Jourgensen and co. after Jourgensen ended Ministry this year. Jim Rose will host the shows, plus openers Blownload and Left Spine Down. RevCo started with Jourgensen, Luc Van Acker and Richard 23 from Front 242. The new line-up has Jourgensen joined by singer Josh Bradford, guitarist Sin Quirin, keyboardist/electronicist Clayton Worbeck, drummer Aaron Rossi (Ministry, Prong) and bassist Murv Douglas (Powerman 5000).

Check the new redneck industrial metal noise track "I'm Not Gay"

movies left for dead

Headless Eyes (1972) [rating: *] Weirdo artist tries to steel a girl's money. After she gouges his eye out with a spoon, he is now obsessed with doing the same to random victims. He takes the eyes and then does creative things with them, like putting them in ice cubes. Headless Eyes is terribly made with many pointless, dragging scenes, but considering this is from the early 1970s, the gore involving eyeballs must have been shocking. The most memorable--and quite hilarious--scene is at the opening when the guy's eyeball is hanging and the audio for his screaming is looped as he's climbing down the fire escape. -Kenyon
-----------------------------
Spasms (1982) [rating: *1/2] A wealthy man is obsessed with resurrecting the spirit of a giant demon snake. It's just something he has to do. Peter Fonda's character and the man's neice fail in following the creature, while studying the obsessed man's telepathic connection he has with the snake. After biting people to death and causing spasms, the snake makes its way to the guy who has the supposed connection and the snake kills him, even though they had that telepathic connection. Bad snake, bad movie. -Kenyon

Piney Gir--i prefer calling her Pony Girl--is in London making cupcakes and knitting twee with country. And by country, i mean old school original country like Patsy Cline, especially for the butter-churning "Of All the Wonderful Things." With help from backing band the Age of Reason, Piney Gir is supporting her new album The Yearling, which is released next month. It includes first focus song "Say I'm Sorry" and "For the Love of Others," which features a sing-along of "he loves me, he loves me not" and a tuba! -Kenyon

"...leave some time to wander around." That's all we SEE here is people wandering around! Girl, i'll show you something AWESOME. Farrell with Leann Rimes killed the respect right there. Or is that his wife? I...I can't tell them apart. If you need to see Perry and wife Etty for sure, there's this new single/video just released and it's a strong candidate for worst thing of the year.

WWE Smackdown/ECW
at Nassau Coliseum, Long Island.
August 4, 2009. Aired on NY Channel 9 August 7.

matches included: jeff hardy vs CM punk (2.5 matches), christian vs tommy dreamer (extreme rules), rey mysterio vs mike knox, john morrison vs smaller guy from the stupid hart dynasty, mike knox vs dolf ziggler vs finlay vs r-truth (fatal 4-way for championship match at summer slam), chris jericho vs JTG, great khali vs ricky ortiz (with kane attacking).

big russian guy vs huge black dude. and a small white dude on floor.

favorite current intro theme music

E! C! W! Tommy Dreamer also brought out a hotdog cart with hotdogs.

notes: rare appearance of mr. mcmahon. tommy dreamer with hotdog cart and hotdogs, kane dragging khali's manager through the crowd, really boring talking at beginning of ECW (shelton benjamin, zakk ryder), CM punk laying in ring till the very very end, matt hardy guest outside ref helping jeff win, no women's match.

John Morrison intro.

Hart Dynasty won't last long. I bet they go to TNA.

white rice? welllll it's the BIG SHOW. and his music is terrible
when mashed with Chris Jericho's.

tallest wrestler ever.

build the cage! faster! get more helpers!

building cage was a waste of time. this match was a quick extra after the
real show was over and it lasted one minute.

CM punk waiting for the ref to tell him that everyone in the arena has left.

he's still there. bizarre.

Wowzer holy cow! new Circulatory System and tour dates and junk.

The very long awaited Signal Morning will be in CD and digital September 8, 2009. Taking seven years to finish, Circulatory System is pretty much Olivia Tremor Control and a couple people from Neutral Milk Hotel. Amazingly, leader W. Cullen Hart put this together while battling Multiple Sclerosis. New cut "Overjoyed" is available now and is a stunning piece of subcultural bliss. Are we looking at the next Loveless? Prolly not, but it's still gonna RULE. -Kenyon
